Hello,
I'm sort of a newbie, but here goes.
I installed phpbb3 on my server - mydomain.com/forum
Have the ProSilver Special Edition style
then I Installed automod - worked fine & have another mod that worked okay
Next I installed the Portal 2.0 through Automod, then updated to SE Pro Style.
everything went fine - no errors, even with the update style
Then I'm lost, tried going to http://mydomain.com/forum/portal
get a 404 error.
Don't know what I'm doing wrong, please help

Your forum is installed in the directory /forum/ then the above is correct to install the database.
make sure you have the portal directory and the portal root files were copied to your forum If you need more help. http://www.stargate-portal.com/ or http://stargateportal.info/ Mitch
