Hmm I'm not sure I have used a few portals messing around with a few different sites, I picked stargate in the end. First i used Board 3 portal it was pretty cool, worked good, but I like to try new things when i see them, so I tried DaMysterious XL5 portal, had a lot of problems with that one, i like running with debug on also and boy did that pop up a lot of errors in it. After looking around more I came across stargate and I love it. Especially having a site where styles are already ported over to it is a nice thing to have, so you can see exactly what they look like beforehand.

I made wowdaddy1.com and apcwonline.com both using the stargate portal. And with a lot of mods installed, especially the wowdaddy. Such as the NickVergessen gallery, arcade (which i made too big with 3100 games lol), bbcode mods, one which makes a Microsoft Office looking bbcode bar when posting. Also the highslide works just fine, both in the gallery and in attachments, so not sure what to tell ya there.

I have had issues with subsilver themes but with a little tweaking ususally got them looking good.

I spent hours on it this morning and there were just so many huge diffrences from what I have spent months tweaking .. that i'm just not sure how to proceed I guess ...

Ah I see its changed around quite a bit with the dkp system. I play wow too but im a horde, got 80 warrior shaman death knight and druid Looks pretty sweet

i installed the style but iit gives me this message:
template->_tpl_load_file(): File ./styles/sgp_GuildWarsAlliance/template/portal_header.html does not exist or is empty
I have check up the files and there is no portal_header.html also i dnload the aion and also it hasen't the same file do i do something wrong here? i copy the styles in the root/styles folder

plz help

Thanks Big Daddy
As he say just follow the style edits for prosilver and subsilver depending on what type of style you are porting.
And when you get to the Portal page after all your stargate edits and your Mod edits for the type of style you are porting are done load up firefox with the plug in's FireBug, Collorzilla use fire bug by right clicking on the portal page and pick inspect element
a box like this will pop up

Notice #1 on the left Click that to inspect the sections of the page
#2 is what you look for and you can change the color on the fly in that section
#3 is what file you are looking in most of your edits will be portal.css in the themes directory
since that is the page your look at because it doesn't match the rest of the site.

And if you get good at it I will put your to work

zip up you style and send it to my pm I will give it a once over

The gallery works fine with stargate portal so does ABBC3 in fact i have both in all my forums except this one because of the edits to styles that everyone has to download and if there are edits then everyone will have to un-edit them - not good
